You could add a touch of medium to each color, this will keep it moist, and cover it with either foil or glad wrap. Try to keep it as air tight as possible. It has been awhile, but as a fine arts student, I recall this working. (If you can, stir each color occasionally, that will definitely help)
Good Luck!Is there anyway to keep a pallet of oil paints from drying up over a week?
don't mix to much of lincid oil.. ask the pro..Is there anyway to keep a pallet of oil paints from drying up over a week?
We all know that pallette painting is very thick and full of pure paint material.
it is really not easy to be completely dry in a week.
However,I would be happy to give you some suggestion,as my experience, when I finish the painting,we can spray a kind of liquid on the painting surface, and you can spray it every 12hours to make sure the surface to be dry quickly.
(i know the chinese name of this kind of liquid, but do not know the english name,i think it is very easy to buy in your local paint material shops.)

I Use cling film works great and stops the oils drying out
Gluck
I used to add a drop of oil of cloves on the pallette or mix it with each color and put into an airtight tupperware type container and put in the freezer..that would work and actually would work ok without the oil of cloves...make sure it is wrapped well so the fumes don't spread into your frozen foods!
