I have an original oil painting I purchased through Artistic Interiors in 1982. The certificate number is 174653. It is a still life floral. I am looking for the name of the artist and information about the artist, as well as what I paid for the painting. Where can I find this information? Try to contact the company you purchased it from -- if they're not available, then short of a picture it will be very difficult for anyone else to get access to their archives with such limited information on the work and its origin.

These should give you a frame of reference as far as today's value. I don't see that this firm is still operating, you may want to enter one of the forums on-line for inquiries such as this. Basically, these were paintings for home decor purposes. Best of luck!
