Oil painting?

firstly a great big hello! can anyone help? i have recently found damp and mould on an oil painting i have done, is there anything i could use to clean this off?Oil painting?
Put the painting into direct sun light for about 4 hours, when the sun is at it's highest point(10am-2pm). This will kill the mold. The water won't hurt it, but do let it dry. Then brush off the mold. This is all you can do. If there's rot then you must cut it off. Peroxide 50/50 with H2O to wipe off access.Oil painting?
linseed oil is best for cleaning oil paintings. It's what the professionals use.
Use some white spirits on a damp cloth and wipe it away very gently, and leave it in well ventilated and not damp location to dry.
try taking it to an art shop see what they say, im not sure sorry
If it's an oil painting that is pretty dry then a soft sponge and some light soap and water might help Then apply lightly and sweeping lightly in the same direction with each stroke and then some linseed oil might be ok too. Then put it in sunlight for a good long time and see if that helps get rid of the mold. If not don't use any other cleaners before talking to a person who knows what your dealing with. Such a person could be found at any local art museum or maybe a local art gallery might find the right person who is versed in cleaning oil paintings. But don't use bleach or any acidic cleaners without checking it out first with someone who knows. Or better yet, just don't use any strong cleaners at all. I hope that helps
