I wan to have discussion on old master oil painting?

got 2 pictures on oil painting pictures, need to find some data on the paintingI wan to have discussion on old master oil painting?
Hi,...They had a limited pallet to work with and mainly concentrated on the studies of extreme light %26amp; dark Values. The first pallet they would begin with used earthy ground tones, such as, Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber, and Yellow Ochre. For them to achieve gradation with in those tones, they added black or white.

Most of the old master painting have the '; golden glow tone'; to them showing extreme differences in value to make forms pop-out from the otherwise flat painting plan.

First, they would sketch on there canvas. Second, they then began to fill mid-tone values adding shadow with-in shadow later on. After they achieved that process then local color was added over the existing nuetral tones.

Another interesting idea,.......they incorparated ';unconious'; lines into their compositions giving them a strong structure. Particular objects %26amp; their edges would be used to dirrect the veiwers eye.

The objective of this was to influence the viewers eyes to stay in the painting, keep added interest. They would darker the background in places, suddly, aswell to achieve this.

There is many things that just fansonate me with the ';old masters'; of the ';old world';......I am an Native American artist.

Thank you, great questionI wan to have discussion on old master oil painting?
1. Post the pictures so that we can give you feedback.

2. Unless you're from another country, you seriously should consider working on your English language skills.
