You can check with your local gallery or museum also you have appraisal services. The only problems with those things are that a gallery can be dishonest also some of the appraisal services can be trying to make a buck off you if they feel they can. Museums you can't just walk in with a piece and ask for evaluation, they take forever to get anything done. One of the easiest way is to contact Christie's or Sothesby's auction houses and they can usually help. You can do it online, they are prestigious and are not prone to fraud, they are pretty honest,
