It looks like a Holbein to me.
Not real sure who the artist is now, as I've looked at Holbein art, but can't find this exact painting.
I'd say it was a painting of Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots.
(1542-1587)...artist unknown....but probably would have been painted near the end of her life (she was beheaded).
The locks of hair don't look right, as women in those days generally brushed their hair back to make it smooth looking.
But the headress is a dead giveaway....it's definately Tudor.
It's worth ??? If it was an original 1500's painting it would probably be worth a fortune. If it's a print....maybe 20 bucks.Who can identify this original oil painting?
