Oil painting. Help!!?

I painted a picture on saturday with the oil paints. But I put something in the paint to keep it wet for several hours. Now i need it dry for tomorrow. What should I do? I have been trying to blow dry it but I don't want the fabric of the canvas to shrink. Help!!Oil painting. Help!!?
google ';how to oil paint'; you may find some tips there.Oil painting. Help!!?
I think it's a little late to change what you've done so that it will dry fast. For oils to dry fast, the next time you need to paint with just a thin layer of paint and a good amount of medium. Since it's already painted there really is no way to speed up the drying. The spots where the paint is thick will only allow the surface to dry and under the dry film of paint it will still be wet and subject to smear if touched.

The paintings I use will be alright for moving around after two days, but I don't allow anything to touch the surface at all or I might loose everything I worked for, then in about a week or a little more I can handle the canvas enough to put a temporary frame on it.

Blow drying might do some good, but I would be careful that you don't blow some of the liquid paint around the surface while your blowing air on the paint.

I wish you luck but I think it might be best if you could delay moving your painting around for at least a few days. Most people would understand that problem you've encountered.
