For those who teased you on your question-ignore them. Put it up for sale on Ebay-be sure to note that it is from a child. I've been selling my daughters art since she was 10 years old. Shes accomplished and amazing. Shes now 14 yrs and still at it- check my art site and see her work there too-

Also check into childrens art contests online and into the Reflections program if you have a PTA at your childs school. Its an art program through the National PTA and is great. Scholastic also has a yearly contest and program.
Good luck to youMy 7 yo child likes to do art, can I sell his oil painting, is it legal?
yes that is perfectly legal. I would talk to a professional artist if you know one to get the piece appraised and critiqued before sale though. If art is something that your child is interested in you should do all that you can to support that. If he/she has enough talent then the sooner they begin learning and learning their potential the better. I think that selling their work is a great way of getting them excited about art and wanting to do more. I would of coarse make sure that they are ok with selling their work first though. and make sure you keep a photo record of each piece too. Hope that helps!:)My 7 yo child likes to do art, can I sell his oil painting, is it legal?
Yes, it is legal and since you are the parent and he is below the age of consent, your are considered to be responsible for everything that he does.
HOWEVER, if the child's hobby has turned to work and you are gaining profit in his expense (even though he likes art and creates the a lot) you might cross the child abuse territory (no, chidl abuse isn't just hitting the kid)
It is not CHILD ABUSE - GET A LIFE
But it is legal, look at child models, actors, singers, dancers. They work very hard, and they get paid to do so. Singers have to practice and make records, Brandy, The Boys, and other children Artist. IF your sons art is good, put them up for sale and let him participate in selling them, tell him what good things his art will go to and how it will help not just the family but his future.
If this is his hobby let him enjoy it. It's not like your breaking Child Labor Laws.
y'know, i have a friend who is an artist, and her small son is an artist too, they had a show together a few years ago, she sold a few pieces, but he sold out. the gallery set up a space just for him...it was very cool. and he was so pleased with the whole thing, and even she was surprised that he sold everything he made. she put it in the bank in his savings.
well obviously you don't need children if you can hardly speak but that's just my common sense speaking how about yours?
but if they made it you should keep it you know (well probably don't know ) but as a token to remember them.
DUH
As long as he is not copying artwork from others to do his paintings you should be able to sell them. I would set up an account for him so that he gets the profits. That should keep you out of trouble.
Yes, because you buy the supplies, but you should ask his permission, and give him like 15% of the profits (He'll think it's a lot).
Make sure its ok with him first and just to be nice give him either all or most of the money. Like in a trust fund or savings account
It is perfectly legal
It's legal with his permission, but good luck finding a buyer.
haha, yeah if he says you can :L
Well you could but I don't think he would be happy.
with his permission
Im thinkin u can. Only if he/she says its ok
lol haha
